Study 3
The goal of study 3 will be to develop a randomised controlled trial of a community based strategy to maximise evidence-based long-term secondary prevention therapies among individuals with established atherothrombotic vascular disease.
Study 4
The goal of study 4 will be to develop in collaboration with primary care partners a ‘Best-Practice Minimum Standard Primary Care Model' to meet the needs of Aboriginal people with chronic diseases.
The objectives and design for this study will be informed by the findings of the vascular audit and qualitative study.
Key components that may be included in this study are a quality improvement strategy and a trial of multi-disciplinary clinical support for people at high vascular risk.
